Conservative cleaning of infected tonsils
The Otopront tonsillar lavage device (Tonsil Cleaner) cleans infected tonsils as a conservative treatment option and can give patients fast relief from pain and infection. Pressurised water or saline is sprayed onto the tonsils to loosen the infected coating, which is then removed through a tonsil-shaped suction tip with adjustable vacuum. Clean tonsils also make it easier to apply medication.
